USD 431 is now accepting applications for the full-time teaching position of a Transitional Kindergarten teacher at Roosevelt Elementary School for the 2020-2021 school year. The district has a variety of supplemental positions available to the candidate if he or she is interested.


The district is looking for a dynamic and nurturing candidate to engage pre-primary students in all facets of learning. The district desires a person that is a team player and has a skill set in all core areas. Having a knowledge base and passion for MTSS and a willingness to differentiate instruction to reach each learner is a requirement. The district is also interested in a candidate that can adapt to fluid situations and is willing to continually reflect and improve as a professional.


A desire to be a part of something special is a requisite. We want candidates that are ready to become a part of an educational family. We desire a candidate that will be an asset to the staff and students of Roosevelt Elementary School.


Roosevelt Elementary has approximately 180 students in our building of 3 and 4 year old preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade classrooms. Hoisington Public Schools has exemplary community support and excellent facilities.

USD 431 is now accepting applications for the full-time teaching position of a computer/robotics/technology teacher that would be shared between Hoisington Middle and Hoisington High schools for the 2020-2021 school year.

The district is looking for a candidate to engage students in all facets of learning in the use of technology for learning. The district desires a person that is a team player and has a skill set in the area of coding, technology, and/or computers. The district is also interested in a candidate that can adapt to fluid situations and is willing to continually reflect and improve as a professional.

Hoisington Middle School and High School have approximately 400 students grades 6-12. Hoisington Public Schools has exemplary community support and excellent facilities. The district has a variety of supplemental positions available to the candidate if he or she is interested.
