Lady Cardinal Golf came out of Day 1 at State Golf shooting there best score of the year with a 391 putting them in 5th place as a team and qualifying for Day 2. Ava Henry with a 92 and Tricia Schremmer with a 90 lead the Lady Cardinals on Day 1. Going into Day 2 Coach Cooper said the girls would have to golf even better if we were going to have a shot to move up. Well that's just what the Lady Cardinals did. They shot a 382 which shatters there previous personal best. Leading the way was Ava Henry with an 88 and Tricia Schremmer with a 94 also note that Addi Guthrie improved 8 strokes to post a 96 on Day 2 which was the largest improvement for the team. Lady Cardinals finished tied with Silver Lake for 4th place. For those that don't know in Girls Golf they score the top 4 golfers and if there is a tie they go to the 5th golfers score and so on to break the tie. Ally Karst came up huge and out scored Silver Lakes number 5 golfer to help the Lady Cards secure the 4th place finish. What a great year for our Lady Cardinal Golfers.
