2pm Match 1 - Lakin vs. SW Heights
3pm Match 2 - Hoisington vs. Goodland
4pm Match 3 - (Championship Match) Winner of Match 1 vs Winner of Match 2 The winner will advance to the 3A State Tournament in Hutchinson.

REGIONAL CHAMPIONS!! Congrats to the Cardinals Volleyball Team for winning tonight's Regional Quad and advancing to sub state this Saturday afternoon in Lakin. A vocal home crowd watched Hoisington beat Larned, Colby, and Beloit to run their season record to 32-4.

The H.H.S. Freshman and Sophomore Class fundraiser has begun and ends on Nov. 3. The classes are raising money for prom and senior items in the future. They are selling freeze dried candy, car freshies, and room sprays. If you'd like to help out, see your local freshman or sophomore, or contact Mr. Oborny or Mr. Sargent at the high school.

The Cardinals Football Team kept their unbeaten season alive with an 86-6 home win over Larned on Senior Night. Hoisington will finish district play next Friday on the road against Cimarron. Seniors playing their last regular season game this evening are: CJ Bryant, Taylen Morales, Layton Hoffman, Kalob Lamb, Mason Martin, Colin Mater, Carson Mason, and Jhadyn Turner #mindset
There was back-to-back thrilling Volleyball action tonight in Claflin as the JV/Varsity alternated matches at the Central Plains modified quad. The JV concluded their season with a 1-1 mark, while the Varsity swept Ellsworth and Pratt in 3 sets each. Hoisington will host the 3A Regional Tournament Monday beginning at 5pm.
The KSHSAA 3A Volleyball Regional pairings are set. The Cardinals will host a quad on Monday, October 20th at 5pm. The top two teams will advance to Sub State on Saturday, October 25th at a location to be decided after all Regionals are completed. The schedule is as follows: (5pm) Hoisington vs Larned Beloit vs Colby (6pm) Hoisington vs Colby Beloit vs Larned (7pm) Hoisington vs Beloit Colby vs Larned Regional Volleyball Admission $8 Adults, $6 K-12 (no passes accepted). Fans can pay with cash or through GoFan digital tickets. Please come out and support the host Cardinals!

The Varsity Girls Golf team concluded their season today at the Class 3A Regionals in Larned. The young team consisted of Samantha Lovett (Soph), Alaina Rubio (Soph), Olivia Chambers (Frosh), Myah Howling (Frosh), and Rilynn Crawford (Frosh). The future looks bright for this group, as they got better with each outing. Thanks Coach Cooper for your patience and expertise.

Props to the Cardinal JV Volleyball team for their 2nd place showing in the Ellsworth Invitational today. An opening 3 set loss to the host team was the only blemish on the day as Hoisington finished with a 4-1 record. The JV team will conclude their season next Thursday at Central Plains.
Congratulations to Coach Reisner and the Debate program for their strong performances the last couple of weekends. In the Great Bend tournament, Aspen Galindo and Lily Santy took 6th place in the JV division, while Kiera Wyant and Willow Braddy debated in the novice division. At the CKL-HOA varsity debate tournament at Sterling College, Willow and her sister Melody Braddy took 7th place and Aspen and Lily ended in 10th place. The girls are off to a great start!


The 3A Girls Tennis Regionals finish today in Lyons. Congrats to the lone Senior Heather Ward who went 1-1 to cap off a strong career. Other team members on the Regional team are
Kaelynn Axman, Annabelle Gonzalez, Aubree Martin, Kassie Linsner, Miette Kaiser, and Callie Loesch (alternate). The girls showed marked improvement throughout the year. Thanks to Coach Taylor Smith and Coach Kiley Klug for their time and effort this fall.
It was another dominating performance from the Cardinal Football team on the road tonight at Lakin 70-0. Hoisington had 457 yards to Lakin's 64. The Cardinals go to 5-0 on the season (2-0 in district play) and return home next Friday versus Larned on Senior Night.
Congrats to the Cross Country teams in their performances at Sterling. There were many personal season best times today. Brody Rossman led the Boys with a 10th place finish. Aden Rexwinkle finished 7th in the freshman boys division. On the Girls side, Tianna Lutters took 19th, while Ava Martin brought home 2nd place in the freshman girls division. Both teams will be back in action at the CKL meet next Thursday in Halstead.
It was Deja Vu for the Cardinals Volleyball team tonight. Finding themselves down to host Hesston 18-10 in the 3rd set (for the second time this week against the Swathers), Hoisington showed their championship grit in coming back to win the match 26-24. In the nightcap, the Cardinals swept SE Saline 25-20 and 25-21. With both wins, Hoisington will host Regionals at the Activity Center on Monday, October 20th.

Shout Out to the Cardinals Volleyball team for going on the road tonight and beating the league leading host Swathers in two sets 28-26 and 25-21. Hoisington followed that up with a 25-14, 25-10 victory over Nickerson to move into first place 🥇 in the CKL. The JV and C teams both went 1-1, losing to Hesston and sweeping Nickerson.

Props to Heather Ward for her 8th place finish today at the annual tradition-rich Wakeeney Tennis Classic. The Varsity girls next head to Ellsworth Tuesday to build on their momentum from today.
Congratulations to the Volleyball team for winning today's Cardinal Classic in convincing fashion. Hoisington won all 10 sets and ran their winning streak to 11 matches. The Cardinals will be back in action Tuesday in Lindsborg, where they will take on host Smoky Valley and defending state champion Halstead.

Congratulations to the Cardinals football team for opening district play tonight with a resounding 72-0 win over SW Heights. It was a balanced team effort in all categories in front of a great crowd. Hoisington steps out of district play next week on the road for a homecoming game at Cheney, before returning to finish out 3 weeks of district play. #growth
A big shoutout to Amy Haxton for her tireless planning and work in putting on tonight's Homecoming Community Pep Rally at HHS. It has been an exciting Spirit Week in the hallways and we cap things off tomorrow with a school pep assembly. Come out and support our football team tomorrow night at 7pm as we begin District play and then make plans to cheer on our Volleyball team all day Saturday as we host the Cardinal Classic.
Props to the Cardinals Volleyball team for sweeping league foes Pratt and Haven tonight in front of a big crowd at the AC. The JV opened the evening with a 3 set victory over the Wildcats and then dispatched of the Greenbacks in 2 sets. The Varsity beat Haven 25-9, 25-19 and Pratt 25-15, 25-20. Congratulations to our 3 Seniors: Miya Nachtigal, Rylee Vaughn, and Kelsi Maier. We are proud of you!!
