From the Hoisington Public Library: Kansas Reads to Preschoolers will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 11th at Hoisington Public Library, 169 S. Walnut. Liz Gruis will read a story and her dog Luna will also be there.

Football and Cross Country Post Season Information: Football will play Phillipsburg tomorrow 10/27 at Elton Brown Field game time 7pm. Admission prices are Adults $6 and Students $5. Passes are good for Hoisington fans. Cross Country will run at State Saturday 10/28 at Rim Rock in Lawrence. Boys run at 11:10am and the girls at 12:55pm. Good Luck to all! Cardinal Proud!

Cardinal runners competed at Sterling invitational with boys finishing 4th. Cardinals finished with 11 of 13 runners performing season best times, 8 of which where career personal bests. Top finishers on boys varsity include Kamden Tarlton 4th, Eli Lewis 30th, Micheal Hipp 34th, & Alex Mater 35th. Girls varsity finishers include Tristin Compton 12th, Tianna Lutters 17th & Vada Kaiser 31st. Boys JV was led by Nathan Norvell in 12th & Kyler Jensen in 18th. Cardinal HS runners competed at a hot and windy Ness City course today. Boys team took 3rd. Individually Kamden Tarlton placed 3rd, Eli Lewis 18th and Michael Hipp 19th. Nathan Norvell led the JV squad with a 5th place finish. Girls were led by Tianna Lutters finishing 22nd.

HS JV football Monday vs Lyons has been canceled and will not be made up.
Last night at the USD 431 Board of Education Meeting the 2023-2024 calendar was revised. This revision was to make it possible for USD 431 to attend an in-service at Lyons High School on President's Day, February 19th, 2024.
The Changes:
January 15th will now be a full school day with teachers and students.
February 19th will now be an In-Service day with No Students.
