Hello Roosevelt! Yo-Yo sales from the NED Show started today, October 16th and will end October 30th. The profits from our Yo-Yo sales will potentially "Pay It Forward" to another school and get the NED Show to them for free. We were able to bet our NED Show for free because another school "Paid It Forward" to us.

Hello RES! Parent-Teacher Conference notes for Kindergarten and 1st Grade will be going home today. Please fill out and return on or before Monday, October 16th to the Roosevelt office. P3, P4, & TK will have conferences at a later date. Thank you for your support and cooperation!

The League of Women Voters are sponsoring a Local Candidate Forum for the upcoming General Election. Candidate Positions to be included: City of Hoisington Mayor, City of Hoisington Council Members for Wards 1 and 3, USD 431 Board of Education and Claflin City Council Members. The Forum will be Thursday, October 12, 2023 From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Friendship House, 419 E 3rd Street in Hoisington. Please come and educate yourself on the candidates for this upcoming election.

USD 431 if you are receiving all calls the system has updated and there are additional numbers receiving information. If you would like more than one number on the all call list you can update your information under forms on PowerSchool or even through the PowerSchool App.

Hello RES! CORRECTION..... We will have an early release on Wednesday, October 4th. We will dismiss school at noon. There will be no Preschool on Wednesday, October 4th, but they will have Preschool on Friday, October 6th. Thank you!

Hello RES! Trash bag sales forms were sent home with your kiddo today. The orders will be due with money to the RES office on Wed., Sept. 27th. The pick up day for orders will be on Wed., Oct. 4th from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm at RES. The money raised goes in to our Activity Fund for students and teachers. Thank you!!

Hello RES! No HEPA Meeting on Monday, September 18th. The next HEPA meeting will be on Monday, October 16th at 6:30 at Lincoln.

Last night at the USD 431 Board of Education Meeting the 2023-2024 calendar was revised. This revision was to make it possible for USD 431 to attend an in-service at Lyons High School on President's Day, February 19th, 2024. The Changes: January 15th will now be a full school day with teachers and students. February 19th will now be an In-Service day with No Students.
