Boys and Girls Sub-State Brackets

Hoisington Schools will have a 2 Hour Late Start Thursday, February 20, 2025. There will be no AM Pre-School at Roosevelt. Please help your students bundle up and stay safe and warm! Thank you!

USD 431 Hoisington will have No School on Wednesday February 19, 2025 due to the need to clear snow and extreme temperatures. All District buildings including the Activities Center will also be closed on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Be Careful and Stay Safe!

PowerSchool informed us that the taken data primarily includes parent and student contact information with data elements such as name and address information. Across their customer base, they have determined that for a portion of individuals, some personally identifiable information (PII), such as social security numbers (SSN) and medical information, was impacted. They are working with urgency to complete their investigation and determine whether PII belonging to our students was included. USD 431 does not collect or use Student or Staff Social Security Numbers within the PowerSchool System. Protecting our students is something we take seriously. With PowerSchool’s help, more information and resources (including credit monitoring or identity protection services if applicable) will be provided to you as it becomes available. According to the message from PowerSchool, they believe that this breach is now contained but may have affected the data of our employees and/or students and their families. USD 431 is serious about protecting the security and privacy of your data. This breach not only violates our expectations for district vendors; it also violates board policy and Kansas law. At this time, we have limited information and await additional guidance from PowerSchool officials. Hoisington High School Wrestling will not go to Larned tomorrow 1/9 due to lack of practices to prepare for the meet. We will be looking for an alternate to make up for losing the tournament.
